COUNTY GATE - THE BUILDINGS

County Gate buildings

The station building at County Gate follows the general design (Nuremburg Style) as buildings on the original railway. We allowed for some small changes as we felt this would have happened on a later section with a new local builder. The Harbour Authority buildings are in keeping with typical buildings of that period.

This building is typical of the period, with an extension in brick and 'King Corrugated' built at a later date.

This is typical L & B architecture in 'Nuremburg style'.
