L&B Coaches from 3dPerfect

We are bringing out a complete range of L&B coaches for both 4mm and 7mm. We have taken a great deal of care to ensure that these are as accurate as possible. The first two kits (the coaches below) are available to order now.

The kits in their simplest form are designed to be assembled by soldering alone. After painting, glazing is fitted to the windows prior to assembly of seats. This does render a model that clearly has no 'substance' being just a thin fret over glazing. We no longer supply white metal 1st class seat castings due to their excessive weight. We suggest that you use plastic 00 interior seats cut down.

We therefore have an alternative method which offers much better interior detail. The improvement is subtle but I think well worth it.

For those who wish to have these coaches in original condition, there is nothing that a good needle file and maybe some Plasticard cannot solve.

Please note that we no longer supply bogies with these kits.

Blackhams Transfers now provide a sheet of decals for all of the L&B coaches. There are sufficient duplicates to allow for 'mess-ups'. He also has a sheet for the smoking and no smoking signs.
