- Watercress (Nasturtium officinale)
- Usually creeping perennial of shallow streams and ditches; widely cultivated
in S England. Pinnately divided leaves persist through winter. White flowers
appear May to October and are 4 to 6mm across. Seed pod is 18mm long. Widespread
and common. Height up to 15 cm
