- Vervain (Verbena officianalis )

- Short / Medium roughly hairy perennial, stems stiff , square ,leaves pinnately lobed, toothed opposite, the upper. Flower Pinkish Lilac 2 - 5 mm, the petals are 5 lobed the lower somewhat longer, in long slender leafless spikes. Dry , Bare or sparsely grassy places June - October
