All track is
the new Peco 'mainline' 009 track. The 18" radius points are
extremely well made and stock runs through them very
smoothly. With a tiny modification, they can be made to be
DCC friendly. This is not something I have bothered with in
the past but as the facility is there, it seemed pointless to
ignore it.
All the trackwork is installed
on the first board. It has been ballasted and weeds added
while the platform is constructed along with the shelter.
The working colour light signal is wired and a Tortoise
motor fitted to the point.
The second bridge is
built. This is a Noch laser cut product and is absolutely
excellent.
All of the trackwork is
installed and the layout tested using DC.
